UK Solihull original with petrol engine, soft top and 7 seats. Nut and bolts restored / frame off restoration by Land Rover professional in 2023 - 2024. Condition is new (or better) than original standard of this 1969 Land Rover Series 2a, 2,25L petrol engine and 7 seats.

I'm selling the car because of proterty project and this is the best priced restored series 2a you will find online!
Car has been completely striped to the chassis and rebuild. Restoration completed 06/2024 for more than €30k - sold only because of real estate project.

Mechanical and exterior

• frame striped and repainted (black)
• body disassembled, treated and repainted in period correct color (blue-grey
• engine, gears and transfer box full overhaul and rebuild with new pumps, belts, lines, gaskets and fluids.
• new clutch
• axle bearings, ball heads and wheel bearings revised and/or replaced with new.
• new steel exhaust
• complete new brake system: drums, brake cylinder, lines, pads new and installed
• brand new electrical system
• new battery.
• 5 new all terrain tyres in period correct look
• rims revised and painted limestone (RAL1015)
• complete restoration and/or replacement of leafs and suspension + shock

Interior and trim

• New seats and bench deluxe series black vinyl.
• new circular mirrors on fenders
• dashboard fully restored and repainted
• new soft top trim with windows on galvanized frame
• galvanized trim all around (rear, doors, front)
• new seals all around
• wood steering wheel

The car is in excellent condition and a very nice UK example of the series 2a with the popular gasoline engine. Ready for many good summers and adventures to come.
