Superb Mercedes 500SL (type R129) in a beautiful shade of Almandine Red (code 512).


The last owner, who kept it for more than 20 years, only used it on sunny days and stored it in a dry place the rest of the time. The car has a real mileage of 159,800 km, corresponding to an average use of just 4,700 km per year.


Delivered on 15 June 1990, our 500SL is in perfect condition. The bodywork is sound, with no dents or dings.


The interior is also in very good condition, as is the black soft top, which looks like new.


Mechanically, there's nothing to do, the tyres are new and the rims have not been scratched.


Among the main options, our Mercedes is equipped with air conditioning (which will be recharged), adjustable electric seats, a windscreen and heated seats, so you can drive with the top down in winter!


The 500SL is one of the brand's most luxurious models, with cutting-edge technology in terms of comfort and safety. For example, the R 129 was the first Mercedes convertible to feature an automatic roll-over bar, which deploys in 0.3 seconds in the event of a roll-over.


Very easy to drive, the 500SL is exceptionally reliable, with very up-to-date performance figures (250 km/h, 0 to 100 km/h in 7s and 0 to 200 km/h in just 26.6s), thanks to its V8 engine developing 326hp. This model is a future collector's item that can be used at any time, in everyday life or for pleasure.
